Memorial Day Weekend - Am I Crazy?

Ends up my ex-husband wants to have a visit with my two older children Memorial Day Weekend, which will require me to drive 3 1/2 hours to Orlando to drop them off and pick them up because this will be the only way they get to see their dad. Anyway, since we are going to be in Orlando anyway I was thinking about DH and I taking our DD-6 to MK and Epcot for us over the weekend.

Which would be the best plan? MK on SAT, Epcot on Sunday or switch? Will it just be terribly crowded do you think? We're buying Seasonal Annual Passes and DH and I will be back in OCT 04 and with all the kids at Christmas time so we don't need to see everything. I'm just wondering if it would be more stressful than it is worth. We'd probably try to get a room at POP.

What do you think? Should I try to plan this trip or not?

We've gone several times over that weekend, and while it is more crowded than the days leading up to it, it is not impossible. The beaches in Florida are as bad or worse that weekend.

I would NEVER do MK on a Saturday, no matter what weekend it is!

Just take it easy because you WILL be back and enjoy the place. Take some time in your pool at the hotel. See the evening fireworks. Do what you can do in a leisurely pace and put the rest on a list for October!

Thanks for the encouragement. I think we will just go to Epcot Saturday and MK Sunday and maybe AK on Monday and just take it easy. Thanks.

We'll be there too. We are arriving on Friday morning and planning on Epcot Friday, MGM Sat, & MK on Sunday. This is a unplanned trip since my DH has that Friday off and we both have Monday off.
