Memorial Day Week, Anyone?

we went last year and it RAINED THe WHOLE TIME

Was it just off/on showers or a continuous downpour?
We have had rain/cool weather in OK,but dont ya know it we leave Sunday & starting tomorrow it is going to be sunshine & high temps on our 7 day.LOL>
It is still too cool to swim in our pool as the water has not had time to warm up yet.So maybe it will rain off/on instead of a continuous downpour.I will be there for 2 weeks so hopefully we will have some good days out of that time period.

Besides, it usually cools things off when it rains, which you will appreciate I am sure.

Well count this neighbor in, we will be at Fort Wilderness May 29-June 7, and we finally learned our lesson after being washed out by rain in our tents and we now have a pop-up.

One week from this very moment we will be flying from Denver to MCO. 8 to 9 of us spending Saturday through Thursday at Old Key West, Friday and Saturday at POP.

We will be there May 29 - June 5 at the CR. As soon as my DD(7) gets home this morning from her sleep over we are going surprise her and DS (4) with the news about the trip. It has been hard keeping it a surprise for this long, but that way I will only hear, "How long before WDW?" for a little over a week.

Okay, here's the deal. I work for a law enforcement agency in Kansas and my boss just bought 2 patrol cars from someone near Tampa. So he needs someone to fly down and drive them back. So I JUMP at the chance and offer up my DH as the 2nd driver. So then I ask him if I can take my kids, boys 14 & 12 and daughter just turned 9, with me and stay a day or two. He says yes so all of sudden I'm trying to make decisions like crazy.

We fly into Tampa this Sunday(like in 6 DAYS!) around noon. Then we have vehicles to drive. I desperately want to go to WDW, with my 1st choice being MK. So we will get to use Monday to go if I can make it all happen. BUT, having NEVER been to WDW I don't know where to start or if it can even be done....

Someone told me about these boards and said everyone is very helpful, so CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP!!!!

I think it can be done. Your best bet will be to go over what is offered at the Magic Kingdom park with your family. Have each member choose their personal must see attraction/ride. Compile a list and make a touring plan. Are you planning on going more than one day? There is a priceline thread where some of us were able to get a disney resort for $36 a night. You might look for that thread as well. Good luck!

Our plans keep changing. Now I think we are going to MK on Tuesday and spending Monday at Downtown Disney. I feel like I'm going to have a panick attack. I just made reservations at Port Orleans Riverside for Monday and Tuesday night. I hope it's a good choice. Too late to back out now....
