memorial day crowds

Would you recommed visiting WDW the week of Memorial Day Sun May28t -Sat June 3rd or the following week June 4th-10th? Are the crowds that horrible on Memorial day and do they continue into that week?

We were there for the first week of June in 2003 and 2004. The crowds weren't bad at all. Our first park day in 2004 was Memorial day. We spent it at EPCOT and had no problem with crowds then either. We had lunch at the Garden Grill and got in before our PS time and rode Mission Space (new then) with only a one hour return on our fastpass. The rest of the week was pretty much the same. The big crowds seemed to only appear at parade and firework times; other than that it was a breeze with fastpass and morning EMH.
