Ok...just got off of the phone with CRO...Im confirmed for May 22nd - May 31st, requested 1500, so we'll see. AAA ROCKS!!!
It'll be me, dw, dd11 & dd5...dd11 is trying to convince me to let her bring a friend...have any of you done this, brought kids friends? Im worried they might get in an arguement after a couple of days, and the kid will want to go home. And that would be uncomfortable. Im leaning towards a NO, but it might be alot of fun for the kids. Any experiences in this area?

Hey, maybe I'll see ya'll there as I have reservations at FW on May 30th and 31st. No specific site request yet, I am gonna research my 1st-3rd choice when I go this time for Valentine's day weekend.

We'll be there! We've got part of the group that will be in one of the preferred pet loops with my parents and nephew (13). I'll be in a cabin with dd9 and dd11 and maybe my other nephew (5) and hopefully my brother too. (Of course, I anticipate the kids all spreading out between the cabin and camp site, so hopefully the cabin won't get too small!) We'll all be there May 23-28. Bigdaddyrog, if you end up not letting your daughter bring a friend, look for us! I'm sure my girls would love to meet a new friend! You'll be able to know it's us because I'll be using the big green mickey head you personalized for me a month or two back!

We're still crossing our fingers for the P&PP on Memorial Day.

Pete...ya mentioned that youre not as much fun in person...Im in the same boat, I mean, I think Im adorkable...er, adorable, but Im the only one who does. My family thinks Im a grouchy moron...not real sure they are incorrect!!!

Many yrs ago when we took a trip to FW it was DH, myself and then 15 yr old DS. We thought it would be a great idea for him to bring a friend along to enjoy Disney, especially since 3 is an odd number for almost all the rides. Well... it turned out bad. We were at the fort 3 days when this friend got homesick and on his daily call home was crying to his parents. Needless to say the next morning we ended up pulling out our MH and taking this kid to the airport to fly him home. Once we were settled back into our spot at FW the rest of our stay was alot better without the extra friend. Good luck with what you decide to do.

We have an honorary 11 year old daughter. She "lives" with us, has been to the beach with us, etc. She did get a little homesick on a week long trip, but arguing was never an issue, and as long as we kept her busy she was fine. Actually, I think she helps even things out. The rest of the kids get along better when she's around We thought about bringing her to WDW on our last trip, but ultimately decided against it because we wanted some more private family time. We love her like our own, but sometimes you have to draw the line. So....I was probably no help at all. I'll just say, it has worked well when we've done it.

Darn! I have been a lurker here for some time. Gettin' my giggles from what sounds like a bunch of "wild and crazy guys"...and gals. We can't get to WDW often but we will be there June 9 for 12 nights. Looks like I will miss the Memorial Day bash I will however take my picture at the Formerly known as "Colson's Crossing." A Kongoloosh (check my spelling) is also going to be on the menu. I'll have to make "Dis Dad" thing too. Hopefully somebody will be there in that time frame. If anybody can find me, they get a beer. Might be doing some slot car racing at night too. Anybody remember those? All you going Memorial day weekend...have a blast!...oh and try to keep it from being closed down before we get there....lol

Well, we've got our house on the market laughing and if it sells, we're heading to the North Georgia Mountains!! I've lived in Florida for almost 35 years & DH-all his life. We're ready for a change!!! However... N. Ga is not tooooooo far away from FtW!!! Only about 8 hours! Leave at 6am arrive by 2pm - - - it's good!
