memorail day weekend

I am sure it has been asked before but could someone please let me know what to expect.

We are doing a cruise then spending memorail day weekend at the parks..

Memorial Day Weekend is horrendous in most vacation areas. It is worse for WDW. The good news is that the parks are open late and the weather is wonderful for swimming. I personally think the summer vacation months are worse than Memorial Day. The parks are packed and it is HOT! I would plan on spending time at Epcot since the other parks will be zoos. Go to MK at night when the kids are back at their resorts. If you want to go to Fantastmics book a dinner show now, if available, so you can get in. Make lots of PS for restaurants now.
Don't worry you'll be at Disney and you will have fun

We were there in 2001 and Saturday was very busy. Sunday the MK was not too bad. No major waits. I think it all depends on the war and economy this year.

It is busy but use fast Pass and early entry and you will be fine. We were there on Memorial day a few years ago and it was crowded but if you work things right, you will be okay.

We were there in 99,00 and the weather was great. It might have rained once or twice at night during both years that we were there.

The crowds on Memorial day were terrible at MK. We were watching the Electric light parade in front of the Castle and felt like a heard of animals.

Depending on which park you plan on going to, try to do EE and make as many rides as possible before the crowds start to increase.

There was also a noticable decrease in crowds the week before and after Memorial day.
