I saw that a couple of weeks ago..i thought it was funny too

Really? This happened to us awhile ago. It seems too much of a coincidence that they would have the same situation twice.

When we went, my oldest DD was 4 at the time, and she cried, "I don't want you to get into the hot seat. You'll get burned."

I told her, "Not to worry honey. Mommy's finger isn't that fast "

We just walked by, planning on going in later and the CM grabbed my husband to be a "complete stranger" lifeline for someone inside. My husband answered the question, the contestant agreed with him and that guy won megapoints on that question. I can't remember what the points were, but they were pretty high. I don't remember the question, but the answer was a gazetter. (Hubby remembers the question too, but he's not here to ask) My husband was given a button that says "I was a complete stranger"!

ppppiglett, unless they repeat questions, which is likely, I was in the audience that day. I remember the question as I think it was the one that put me into the Hot Seat after that contestant.

I have found that if you can hang in there and as the questions get a bit more difficult and you get lucky in knowing the answers it is easier to get into the Hot Seat that way and I was one of the very few people who knew that answer. Comes from reading much about Ben Franklin.

I have been a complete stranger too but since I have been a familiar guest around that attraction and the people there know me fairly well they gave me a special button. It says "Completely Strange".
