I like to say 'Life is short, eat DESSERT first'...so I'm really looking forward to some yummy good ones. I've read about the cindy's slipper and the outrageously priced mickey thing for $50 - can you all tell me where to get some yummy desserts that are also fun and reasonably priced?

Last trip we enjoyed Dad's Sundae at Prime Time, wanted to get the millineum dessert in Epcot but it was sold out. Besides Dads Sundae and a mickey ice cream cone what else is there to get excited about? TIA!!!

My absolute favorite dessert is the maple creme brulee at Le Cellier. It's $4.99 and just to die for. I'm a maple fanatic :teeth:

France or Norway's bake shops offer some good things. My favorit is the rice kreme in Norway and the peach tart and napoleons in France. France has a bounty of desserts in their bake shop.

The Kona Cafe has a lot of great desserts. I also loved the S'mores at PrimeTime.

I don't think that this would count as a desert, but hey they are sweet and delicious and portable, plus they're inexpensive. We fell in love with the roasted/glazed almonds that are in the Epcot center, they are sold at a cart that is outside the Imagination ride, they were $3.00 for a little cone of them, they are so good!

These are also sold at a cart directly across from the American Adventure.

We took pictures of our desserts at Le Cellier (the cheesecake and dessert sampler)---They wrote Happy Birthday in chocolate with a hidden Mickey on the cheesecake plate. The presentation was beautiful on the sampler too. CRT dessert at our dinner was great too...my dessert had Cinderella's Castle airbrushed on with chocolate.

OMG!! Those all sound so wonderful - I can't wait to get there and just eat my way around the 'world'!! Thanks everyone!!
HEY - checkout my countdown - gettin' close - YIPPEE!! :Pinkbounc :hyper:

LeCellier -- I can't recall the name, but it is a trio of their desserts. Each one is mini-sized somewhat, so you can enjoy 3 great treats but not truly "pork out."

One item is a scoop of sorbet in a cookie shell. Very yummy to start with.

Next is a mini-maple creme brulee. This comes with a spun sugar treat stuck in it, usually with rainbow colors.

Finally, a flourless chocolate cake with whiskey. I never ordered this before because I thought I wouldn't like the taste (not a big fan of whiskey). But this was GREAT! You can taste the whiskey, but it is so very subtle and the chocolate cake is rich and incredibly moist.

All this for under $20!

Cinderella's slipper looks yummy. We are looking forward to giving it a try and its $8.00.

The almond cheesecake at Narccoosses was the best thing I have ever put in my mouth! No idea what it cost but id probably mortgage my house to have some.

At Whispering Canyon in WL, they serve a Haagan-Das ice cream in a flour torilla, draped with carmelized bananas. I can hardly wait to enjoy one again.

Coral Reef- Chocolate Wave
LeCellier- Chocolate Moose
LeCellier-Walt's Chocolate 100th year Anniverary Cake

Does anyone see a pattern here?:scratchin

Artist Point...Artist Point Berry Cobbler....Delicious and worth every dollar at $12.99!!!!!!

Profiterolles au Chocolat - puffs with chocolate and vanilla ice cream $5.75

Cannot wait till I am eating that next week!!! It has chocolate sauce on top too.

The Patisserie in France has SOOO many desserts. My DD always gets the strawberry tart and I like the chocolate croissant.

We also love the Sundaes at Beaches and Cream. Our favorite is the fudge mud slide.

Can't forget the Mickey bar:

Or the dole whip:

Gosh. As I look through my pictures, it seems like we spent as much time sampling the desserts as we did riding the rides.
