I actually have contract with dec UY but I bought an august UY contract and I thing I'm not in the disney system yet cause I don't see it in the disney website.
Do you thing I will have another membership number I mean two blue cards or just one for all contract ?
 
You will have two unique contracts with a membership card and number for each one. If both had the same Use Year, DVC might have combined them automatically (they would have had to be titled exactly the same), but with different Use Years they will be separate.

Yo now have two banking deadlines, but can use the contracts to your advantage for stays at different times of the year - the August UY would be best for trips from August - November and the December UY for trips for December - July. With that pattern you would be able to maximize your banking windows in the event of a cancellation. The points can still be combined for reservations at 7 months (separate reservations linked together). The points could also be transferred between the two contracts (one per year).

They will often still appear online under your old account so look there if you haven't. It can take a couple weeks from closing before it shows up online. A week or less generally for Member Services to access the info from the point DVC receives all the paperwork on closing.
 
You might want to contact Contract Administration. If they didn't associate your new contract with your existing contract, they won't be viewable together on the website. One criteria is that both contracts have to have the exact same names on the Title.
 

We closed back in mid-May, and I still haven't received anything from Disney. Granted, we already are on their mailing list for our SSR contracts (Aug UY), so we have the member's guide and member cards. They may link all the contracts together and only send out one mailing per household, but I thought I had read we would have different cards for our VB contract (Dec UY).

You will have a different number for your second contract. The membership cards are printed and mailed by a outside contractor. I have heard that they are processed in bulk after a minimum number has been met.
 
We have two contracts with different UY and two blue cards.

I have learned to be very specific and tell MS which contract to look at and to take the points from there.

I learned this after having them look at my membership and saying I have no points available. :eek: and no reservation made.:eek:

Well, yes I do- look at the other contract . It seems that they have to look at the contracts on separate screens.

So I start all conversations with the fact that I have two contracts with two UY and my heart hasn't skipped a beat lately, thankfully I have points at only one resort, I'm not sure I could handle that too. I know people do it all the time, but I'm not anxious to try it any time soon.
