membership cards on site?

We may have to forego booking with points (closing is taking forever) and just travel with a cash ressie at a non-dvc resort, but I want to still try to convert our tickets to APs at the dvc price. The dates we plan to travel should overlap when we can officially become members, I just wont be home to get the membership card in the mail. Is there a place on site I can get my membership card so we can get the discounts?

I was wondering the same thing. I am hoping our membership comes through while we are there in July so maybe we can use our discounts and upgrade to APs too.

The main location is the SSR DVC preview center. In addition DVC has other sales offices that for some reason they don't talk about who can also issue DVC ID's. The locations that I last knew about were at BLT, BWV, and AKV. There may also be an office at PVB.

It's at the DVC sales center down the street from the main front desk check in. Once your info is in the system, they can pull up your info and print your cards. No appointment necessary.

We had the same issue this past December. We added our daughters to our membership and their cards were in the mail when we left for our trip. We had some printed up pretty quickly at the DVC desk in the BLT lobby. Just be sure you go during regular working hours. We had to go back a couple of times because the DVC people were not there. Be sure to have ID and your membership number with you.
