Membership Card

We recently closed on our resale and got the membership number letter about a week or so ago. Today I got a membership card in the mail but it's only in my name. My husband, who's also on the contract, didn't receive one. Plus we didn't get magnets or any point sheets like I thought we got in our welcome kit. Is this just a fluke and I should be getting the rest of the things soon?

Also, the card is not the new one I saw discussed here, there's no expiration date on it. Should I call and see what's up or wait and hope they arrive?

We bought resale also. When our cards came, it was in a packet with the points chart and a pair of magnets. Cards came for my wife and I. I don't think the new cards have been sent out yet, haven't seen anyone post that they have received them. I would call and have your husband's card sent out.

Thank you both! I'll be calling this morning when they open. I really just want the cards and magnets lol. I love having my AP magnet and now I'll also have a DVC one.

I called yesterday and the member services person I spoke to was great. He said he'd request a card for my husband and he'd request a new welcome packet for me. He said it was strange that my husband didn't receive one but it may have been sent separately from mine with the welcome stuff so we may just get extras when things eventually do get here.

We got our letter probably a few weeks ago now and still haven't received cards or a welcome packet.
I was assuming it was taking a while due to the card designs, but perhaps I should call and make sure it's on it's way!!

I got my membership letter on the 21st and got my packet with my card, magnets and point charts on the 26th. I "think" I have the old design on the card (there is no expiration date). I was surprised how fast I got the packet.

Yes, the packets are sent out in batches. They are sent from an outside vendor. If they requested a new card for your husband, they will probably have it sent out within a week.

I contacted MS about my membership cards for my current trip, I needed them to activate my AP which I purchased at the DVC rate. I hadn't received my packet yet and needed the cards. Of course the packet arrived a day or two after I contacted MS. I ended up receiving another packet and replacement cards also.
