membership card/website pin number

Hi all you DVC experts,
I got my welcome package in the mail today--it had a new member handbook & a 2005/2006 vacation planner but no member id card or pin number to log on to the web site.
Do those come seperately?
I am calling ms in the morning to hopefully try to make my first ressies...they better have my points in the system by now ..can they give me the pin #?

Your temporary membership card should be in a plastic pocket on the left side of your open welcome book. Your pin # will be mailed to you in about a week. All you need is your member # to make resv. Hope this helps

I don't see a temporary membership card, but maybe they mailed it separately. I got my pin # over the phone.

When did they switch the handbook from a binder to a booklet? Recently?

I never got any temporary cards either, just the regular ones.

Have they changed how they do it for cost cutting reasons or efficiency reasons?
