aargh, I've only been planning our Aulani trip for three years, and I'm not able to book. Not that anything is available anyway and I'm dreading that it's all going to be scrabbled together with having to change rooms too.

It's always like this when they do maintenance. Just once I would like to see the estimates close to what is posted.

The online booking page is available again now (11am).

The waitlist process keeps failing on me, but I was able to book my BWV standard studio for 11 months out.

Congratulations! I saw it came back up and saw the Oct. 17th night went quickly. But when you think that is fast, the BLT standard studio Oct. 17th night was gone yesterday on the 16th, so no one ever even had a chance there. I own at both so have been watching as a backup.

...and now it is "call back at 11:00am"...

Well, online booking was up for at least a few minutes at 9am this morning (6am Pacific for me) and I was finally able to book our June 2016 trip after being up at 445 for the last 9 days and getting shut out. Not sure how I got so lucky this morning, I had everything ready to go and clicked right on time and got the message that it was "unavailable" but just kept using the back arrow and trying again. Abut 3 minutes later it worked and I was able to complete and confirm the reservation . But when I tried to go and cancel a waitlist I got the "unavailable" message once again.

WE GOT THE WHOLE WEEK!!!!!

First, I asked if the 17th-22nd was available and it was....she grabbed it. That was a relief because I knew it left me with only one day to waitlist. Well, when she went to set up the one-day waitlist, she said...."It's available!". OMG! (Is there even enough emojis to show how excited I am? I think not!)

Now, my family has 7 nights at the Boardwalk for Food and Wine Festival!

Hopefully, this spreading of pixie dust will continue and I will get lucky and snag a 1BR standard for my family at the 7-month window. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Even if we have to do a split-stay, we are fine with that since we do love AKV.

kristinerice, that is great news. Had the online been working it would not have worked for you. Guess it was meant to be. On a better note, the 1 bedroom standards don't go as quickly. What happens is the standard studios go fast, and you need a studio to make a 2 bedroom at BWV, which leaves the 1 bedrooms hanging.

Also, some people don't value the extra space, the king bed, the whirlpool tub and the full kitchen enough to pay the extra points for a 1BR over a studio. For those of us who do value those amenities, it makes booking a room at BWV for F&W a lot less stressful!

I think the stars aligned perfectly because I knew from the get-go that it will be nearly impossible to get a full week in a standard 2br without being able to book online. I am still shaking from excitement! My dad has already started looking for photos online. He has only been to the Boardwalk once and that was for a DVC presentation in 2001.

Now, the long wait until March 15. Honestly, do I have a better than 50% chance of a standard 1BR for that whole week? I will be able to book this online at 8am since they are my points.
