Members Day

I went to MEMBERS DAY ON July 29 at BOARDWALK
and AUGUST 5 at BEACH CLUB

I thought it was very dissapointing and disorganized.

I agree. We were there for the July 29th one at the Boardwalk, and basically all of the other member Day activities that they had told us would be planned at the other resorts(pool party at OKW and barbeque at BCV) were cancelled.There was the kickoff at BWV, then a drawing at BCV, and that was baiscally it as far as I was concerned. I guess they had the dance thing over at Atlantic Dance, but DH and I aren't dancers, so we didn't go. I was thinking something like a barbeque or some sort of social event would have been nice to get to nkow people.

DH and I were at the Members Day BBQ July 29th and was somewhat disappointed as well. We expected to meet other DIS members, wore our lime green ribbon too. No one found us, nor did we find them. Yes, at the last minute they cancelled the BBQ due to weather....boy! was it hot! We traveled from the green to the Atlantic Dance to meet Mickey and Minnie. Our dd played the hula hoop game, but didn't even get a prize for not winning. They offered prizes to the little kids,but not the big ones. Our dd is 8yo. She did dance at the Atlantic Dance, but no one really showed up for that. If you had you would have heard all about SSR. Nothing else.

Just for cancelling the BBQ, they should have had all the giveaways at the Atlantic Dance Hall instead of making people walk, in the heat, to the BCV. They did giveaway a one week Worldpassport vacation for all those interested.

Well, if they do this next year hopefully it will be more enjoyable.
