does anyone else have problems logging in?

It constantly tells me I am logged in to another website and when I log out of whatever Disney websites I am logged into it tells me I am still logged in.

I wanted to check my reservation online and it isn't letting me UGH and it isn't letting my DH either.

I find the member website so frustrating UGH.

Which web browser are you using? Try clearing out the browser cache, including all the browsing history and cookies. In this case it sounds like the problem is more likely on your end than on Disney's.

Yes this happened to me too. Nothing I tried made any difference. I called Member Services and selected the option to get help with the Member website. The CM I spoke with said she needed to forward my account information to their IT department to get them to reset my account. After a week went by I contacted MS again and they again forwarded my information to their IT department asking for the reset to be expedited. A few days later I got an email from someone in IT saying my account had been reset and I was finally able to log in again. All in all, I was locked out of the Members website for 10 days.

If you have more than one Disney login, you may need to close all browser windows (including ones that are not on the Disney site) to clear the session. Also, if you have a "remember me" checked on a Disney site, you may need to clear your cookies.

we logged out of everything and cleared all the cookies and nada I wound up just calling. There has to be a better way though.

Chiara,
Take a little comfort in the fact that you are not the only one who thinks that Disney's IT department could use a little upgrading. It seems like the graphics and animation are more important to Disney than making sure that the basics work. Good luck in getting a quick response to your problem!

When we joined DVC, I was forced to get a new Disney login for DVC as it would not accept my Disney user name. I even called MS and was told I couldn't keep the same user name. It gets kinda complicated switching back and forth.

I have to admit that I have not had the same problems as the OP, but I'm not looking forward to it when our first DVC reservation nears. I would expect the online ADR system will cause me problems.

Let us know if clearing your cookies works. Thanks.

I had the same problem and called yesterday. When I couldn't log in even after clearing everything else out- the rep said that it isn't only disney websites but any website in which you have the same user name. He gave me a new access code to set up a new account with a different user name so I could get into the site.

Sorry, but I think the rep is mistaken. I have the same user name for many different sites (I know---not a good thing security wise) and I don't have an issue getting into my member account (at least not now). I do know that if I forget to sign out of another Disney website I can access my DVC account without a password. I think this is a bad thing for my online security and another example of Disney's poor IT department.

I'm having the same problem. I guess that I'll have to let them nuke my account and set up a new one. Fargin' ridiculous.
As I said in another thread, their IT expertise is weak. All of the disney.go.com sites are very heavy on the sound and graphics making them very slow to load and weak on their usefulness. The funny thing is that they keep asking if I want to take a survey about the site. On the DVC survey I couldn't answer most of the questions because I still can't log in. I let them have it.

OMGosh I took the survey too and ripped into them it was just ridiculous. I am hoping to call today and have them reset it and am going to send it to another email if I can ever get in.

Did you try clearing the cookies, then rebooting your computer? I had that trouble initially, but it's been okay recently (after the clearing, etc.). I definitely agree that WDW's website is really lame for user-friendliness, usability, etc. . . . . .

Way too graphics intensive and way too little information (their Search function is ridiculous -- but that's partly a function of how limited the info on the site is -- guess they don't want to keep things updated, or be held accountable for info on the site).

I actually had the opposite problem, where it would not let me create a new login just for DVC, I had to use my login for disney.com. It's annoying, because I tend to use a "less secure" login on general sites versus "business" sites.

I had this same problem! :scared1: I had been a member of Disney.com for years with a certain login. When I bought into DVC, I wanted to set up my more secure user ID and password and it wouldn't let me:confused:

The same problem happens if you register on the DVC members website first and then some time later you go to another Disney or ABC website and try to log in there. You will be forced to amend your registration and that will override the username you set up on the DVC members website.
