What is going on with the dvcmember site??? I tried to get the vacation info and that part of the site is still down!!!!!!!!!!

One can only speculate. Perhaps they are fixing some bugs related to the AKV reservation versus vacation points. Hey, I can hope, can't I?

Maybe someone noticed that the "null" resort is now displayed as "Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas" for some odd reason and they are trying to change it back. :lmao:
 
Please email DVC. I emailed them about a month ago and then last week complaining about the same things. Both times, I got the canned email about there may be occasional issues as they are, "continuing to make improvements to serve you better." ugh....
 

Try clicking on the link next to "View Vacation Details", the one labeled "View Activity Statement". I have been waiting to hear on a waitlist we had and finally after getting the "Sorry" message over and over I did some some searching, I tried that link and found what I was looking for.
 
The Members' site is a royal pain. I just logged on to sign up for the Cinderella Castle Suite Sweepstake.

Problem 1) entered wrong id and was brought to a new user page request basic info. I could not backout and enter my correct logon id. I had to clear my cache completely and open a new browser session.

Problem 2) Once logged on I could not locate any link to the sweepstake; such poor layout. I always have to hunt and peck to find my reservation information.

Problem 3) Really a preference. But I find it annoying to be inundated with pages that play loud music. It can quite embarrassing if at work...
 
I called Member Services to inquire about this issue today.
They had no idea when the problem would be fixed....Really no excuse as we pay for this service.

Site is just a brochureware without this service

It's fixed! Vacation details and annual dues sections are working today.

The Vacation Details page did not work for me either the first time I tried it but I tried it again 10 minutes later and it is working now. The Annual Fees page is working, too.
 
Mine still does not work. I sent MS an e-mail today and their response was that they knew about it and were working on it.
 
I can no longer get to the Vacation Details page. It did work for a while. I'm glad I printed out the information while I had the chance.

There is no excuse why the problem is taking so long to correct without communicating anything to the members.

Darn. I really need to see if recent reservation changes are in place. Wish I had checked before it went down again.
 
I couldnt get in after several attempts but now I can it appears you must first go to annual dues then from there select vacation point under my membership on top left then choose view vacation details and your in

THANKS, TOR! Strange navigation (what in heaven's name is wrong with DVC tech??), but thanks to you I was able to check on several reservations! :worship:

Great detective work, tor! I just did several tests and I'm seeing exactly the same behavior. If I visit the Annual Dues page and then go to the Vacation Details page, it works otherwise it does not. That explains why it worked for me yesterday -- the first thing I did after I logged in was check out the dues page.

You should pass this on to the people working on this problem because you have uncovered an important clue!

I have a strange feeling that passing it on would be useless as you would have to pass it to member services and then they would just disregard it and send back the canned email "thankyou we're working on it" but I will try

I've found that the key is to start your message with something like "I have some important information about a bug on the members' website". I've found when I do that (rather than just describe the problem) I get an answer like "Thanks. We'll pass this along to the developers." I know that some info I passed along some time back did go to the development team.

I'm happy to do this if you like but didn't want to steal the credit for this. As far as I'm concerned, you should get some kind of reward for digging up this valuable clue to solving this problem!
