I am trying to call to make a ressie. The 1-800 number is busy.

If I can get through to member services it is a long wait.

What time of the day is the best to call to get through to member services and then not have to wait as long for the next available CM?

I am new to DVC and haven't learned all of the "tricks" of the trade yet.

Saturdays are particularly busy. Most mornings are busy, particularly Monday mornings. I've had good luck calling mid to late afternoon (eastern time) during the week.

On hold time right now says wait time could be up to 25 minutes.

MS has said that the last hour or so on Saturdays isn't busy - try again today, but towards the end of their Saturday hours (1 -5 Eastern).

I find that I tend to wind up calling late afternoon and rarely have the waits folks talk about.

Last Saturday I called MS on the 800 number and it was busy, but when I called the 407 number, I got through. I still had a 20 minute wait for a MS cast member to help me.

I find afternoons midweek to be quickest to get through. When I made our most recent ressies, I told MS I would need to call back with one more room request. She advised that if I was going to call on Saturday, it was usually extremely busy with long wait times.

Their waiting time recording says that they are having a heavy call time due to people booking for the holidays for later this year.

I am a very patient person and usually don't mind waiting. I just like to utilitize my time.

While waiting I just think of the wonderul time we will have once we get back to WDW!

I have called five times this week alone,3times it was a long wait the twice I called 3:00EST while I was in my car waiting to pick up kids from school and I got right through, of course I was totally taken by suprise!!

I usually get right through when I call at 9AM. I start dialing a few minutes before 9.
