What the heck has been going with MS for the last few months?? I've been trying to call MS for a week now to change a reservation and I can't get through, all I get is the busy signal...

Make sure you try both the (800) and (407) numbers. Sometimes, when one is busy, you can get through on the other.

Keep in mind that folks are calling to book Christmas right now.

I am on hold right now (15 minute aprox wait time) but it did take me hitting redial about 6 times to finally get through.

Like Mike said, there are lots of people doing christmas reservations this week.

Keep trying, you will get through at some point, but be prepared to wait.

Well after 19 attempts...yes 19 I was able to get through at at 7:14am our time to book at our home resort for our first visit!

But should it really be like this? Surely they would know about this time of year and take more staff on, perhaps seasonal workers. It is difficult to spend hours trying to get through then sitting waiting on hold for ages too.

and also got a busy signal for about 1-2 minutes. I did get in after 10 calls and was "luckily" able to make my ressies for December 22nd-23rd checkout. I'm actually getting a little nervous as I still have 4 more nights to book. I am hoping that calling right at opening will allow me to get exactly what I want on the dates I want.

The 407 number is definitely the way to go...I'd been trying for almost a week with the 800 number with no luck before I remembered today about the 407 number and just had to hit redial three times. The strange thing is I only had an "approximate wait time" of six minutes! That's probably the shortest that I've ever had...apparently DVC doesn't care if it's impossible to get through as long as you don't have to wait long once you do?

Called right at 8:59 this AM and was picked right up so I guess it's hit or miss with the busy signal. Used the 800# no problem.:confused3

Just called and got through with 800#. Keep trying.....I know frustrating!

Ya tell me about it!!!!:headache:
I think the problem is that while DVC is growing and the MS dept isn't!!! I know they increased their hours (add on Sundays) but i dotn' think it's is solving it!! Plus once you get through, you have another 15 mins to wait. It's like calling the government agency now!!! :sad2:

and of course, this site here is no better!! took a darn 2 mins to download just to write this post!!:headache:

sorry, just venting here!!!:scared: it just seems like to takes so long to do ANYTHING in this life nowadays!!!!

I got right through and only had about a 6 minute wait this morning... But it has been bad all week... I have yet to use the 407 number.. I rather hit redial than pay for the phone call :lmao:

And I totally agree about the DIS being WAY TOO SLOW! Seriously.. is it just crawling along for everyone?

I tried to get through today and got the busy signal x15 times prior to being connected. Then it was a 15 minute wait! This is ridiculous! One would think that they'd have more staff!

What is the 407 number?

I phoned the other day - about 2pm - Mickey Mouse time. I got through on the second attempt and then waited for 10 minutes. It was the first time ever
I`d had to wait. Did someone say its due to their computers running very slow :confused3

:mic: :mic: :mic: :mic: Now hear this.....member services.....you need to fix the phone situation!

I got the busy signal a number of times yesterday and then got in and had to wait about 7 minutes - enjoyed the music. The CM said the problem is that everyone is booking for the Christmas weeks and they are working 6 days right now with only lunch breaks. I bet it will slow down after Feb 1 or 2 and then be crazy again when the 7 month mark hits and people are trying to change to a different resort for those days. I was booking just one day for March so was probably one of the exceptions for the day.
