Member Services Phone Busy???

Anyone know what is going on with that? I called on Monday a little after 5pm and couldn't get it to ring. I ended up calling the 407 # and got right through. I didn't wait very long (maybe 3 minutes on hold) so I don't see why the phone was busy?

I called again yesterday around 4pm and once again it was busy. I again called the 407 # and got right through. I pressed the # for member accounting and ended up going through a loop 4 times before I got put on hold.

What is going on with the phone? I am annoyed to have to pay long distance charges when our dues pay for the 800 #.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Lots of people booking December '05 trips. It has been busy like that all month, and probably will be every January.

It's going to continue to be very busy until February - after all the December trips have been booked. It's not uncommon for the phones to be very busy in January becasue of that. Now that we have so many new members, it's probably even busier than usual.

Keep trying - you will get through on the 800 eventually if you are persistent.

I too found the 800# busy every morning I called to book my Dec 2005 trip. Like you, when I called the 407#, it went right through. I gave up trying the 800# on the second morning and just used the 407 number. My mornings are very hectic with kindergarten, preschool, etc. I'd rather just pay the charges and get the trip booked!

I was very lucky, got through at 9AM this morning, and I was using the 800#. Will I be as lucky tomorrow? We'll see.
