Member Services . . .made my day magical!

Lately I have been reading some negative reports from members regarding Member Services and I wanted to share my story today.

Let me start off by saying that I personally have never had a bad experience with Member Services but this was the 1st time I hung up with a smile on my face and feeling like I wanted to share my experience with my DVC friends!

I called to inquire about availability in February and then the process for having points transferred into my account (since I do not have enough for the February reservation). I was speaking to a most delightful woman named Morgan. She went out of her way to be helpful, courteous and friendly. She went into a great explanation about the process of transferrring points, how to tranfer, how many times you can transfer, the differences between in and out transfers, transfers and your use year and even went so far as to give me her recommendation on the best way to handle my individal transaction.

I must say that she was so helpful and we spoke for a little over ten minutes. I almost didn't want to hang up, it was so refreshing to have the conversation. Morgan made my day magical!

By the way, I would love to send a letter commending Morgan for her wonderful service. Does anyone know where and who I should address such a letter?

I also spoke to Michael at MS this morning and he was absolutely wonderful!
 
Aren't the people at MS just great! When I think of the number of times in a day I recieve bad customer service from so many different places it makes me appreciate the consistent great service the CMs at MS provide. Thanks for sharing.
 
There was a rough patch with MS right after the hurricanes, which is hard to be too critical about. Let's watch and see if things straighten up pretty quickly.
 
Spoke with MS yesterday, and they completely cleared up an issue I had posted about a few days ago. I am feeling much better about things!
 
It wouldn't surprise me if I've spoken to MS 100 times or more over the years and overall I've been extremely satisfied. Many of the castmembers I've spoked to have been with MS for many years and it shows. I remember speaking to some of them in the past and some remember speaking with me. I get the feeling they like their jobs and are fairly compensated for their work and they probably have good benefits. A happy, well trained, experienced employee definitely is in my best interest and hopefully this will never change.

If forced to come up with a complaint it would be that the point transfer policy is interpreted differently from cast member to cast member. I find it annoying when I get inconsistent information. I concede that being unfamiliar with points transfers may have contributed to my frustration.

In any case they get high marks from me. Expanded hours would make me even happier.
 
I just forwarded this thread to some Member Services CMs. I'm sure they will aprreciate reading positive comments about their service to members.
