Was on the DVC website this morning trying desperately to make a reservation, but due to a variety of website glitches, it was preventing me from doing so! Anyway, jumped on the chat option to see if they could assist (5-minute wait) and they were able to make the reservation for me! Here's the message they gave me via chat that I thought I would share- "I can take a quick look at that, before I do so I want to let you know that this is a part of a Test Pilot Program that would allow Vacation Advisors to assist with booking and availability via chat. I cannot guarantee that this service would continue to be available in the future." I filled out the survey at the end, hoping if they get enough positive feedback, they will continue!!
 
It used to be you could email to get a reservation. That chat is "test piloting it" is nice and very late in coming.
 
Sounds like a half-measure in lieu of actually fixing their awful website. Better than nothing, I guess... But would be totally unnecessary if they were at all competent at building a website.
