Got up early this morning to call right when member services opened to book the Jubilee at DLR for July 17th, 2016. Had to call back an hour later since the first hour they are open they only take calls about website issues. When did this start?
Called back an hour later and spent more than 45 minutes on the call (mostly on hold) only to be told they can't book it and to "call back later today." Said they couldn't even estimate a time. Asked if they could note the members who already called and/or call them back so those of us who called this morning could book and they said they have no way of doing that.
In general, these events fill within an hour or two. Leaves members who called this morning in a situation where they need to call back repeatedly throughout the day and hope to not miss getting a reservation. How many times do they think members can call during their workday? It's not like it's a quick five-minute call.
DVC has known the booking date for more than a month and no one checked to make sure it was ready to go?
My strong suspicion is the time difference didn't occur to anyone at DVC when they said registration would start at 8 am EDT today. So when CM's tried to reach someone out in CA to process the reservation, it was 5 am PDT.
