Scenerio - It is December 2002. My use year starts Feb 2003. I need to make a reservation now in order to secure an 11 month window for the 2003 use year. I am short 1 point. Can I borrow this point from my 2004 use year? I am not sure if I can because my year doesn't start until February 2003, but the reservation is for that year. Sorry if I am being confusing. I'm going crazy trying to figure this out.

Also, if I have another member transfer this point into my account, can I have it transfered into my 2003 use year instead of my current year? Am I making any sense?

Any help is appreciated.

Yes you can borrow the point from the next use year. The points needed and borrowing are done based on when the RESERVATION IS. Just like you can make the reservation 11months out even if you don't have points when you call, as long as you have them at the TIME OF THE STAY.

The same is for borrow, if you are staying in the 2003 use year and need to borrow you can borrow from the 2004 use year even though it is 2002 use year still.

I know becuase I made our first ressie for next Jan back in Feb of this year, and we had not even closed yet, but I could make the ressie and borrow 5 points from the next use year based on the points I would have in Jan 2003, and borrow from my Aug 2003 use year into the Aug 2002 use year.

I hope I am being clear ;)
