I also had a problem with question 1o. The homecoming was the first event we have attended.

Yup, I had trouble with it, too. I tried to contact Member Services but "the site was too busy to accept my message"...hmmmmmm, guess our fellow DVCer's had similar thoughts, eh?

Outside of a problem with the heat on Founders Day (Disney can't control everything!) we had a great time and would love to attend another event. At least DVC might listen to our requests for more time.

I would let them know that I don't appreciate the Disney cash cow treatment. There's lots of "special events" that could be offered to DVCers that would be "unique" without being such an obvious attempt to squeeze the last red cent from some of Disney's biggest fans and spenders. Also...Rice Krispy treats are not decadent.

We didn't get the survey yet but we moved so mail is getting to us slowly...... We live right outside NYC so we would say a big YES to there and anytime is good!!!!

I think they simply looked at where the largest concentration of DVC members is.

We did not attend the homecoming because of work obligations.
Oh so many years ago when we joined DVC they were talking about a DVC resort in NYC near Times Square. I would love that. being able to spend a night or 2 in Manhattan to see a show or attend a special event. We did stay at The Plaza on points and had a lovely time. But it wasn't DVC.

And several years after we joined there was a DVC members get together at the Marriott here on Long Island next to the Nassau Coliseum. (DVC guides were promoting DVC at a Florida real estate show there.) We had a blast! One night, small room, lots of members adn loads of fun!

we certainly would have liked a comments box, probably would have filled it up and then some, both positive and negative
question 10 was not a true survey because like others we were unable to be truthful since this was our fiorst event and that was not a choice
i really enjoyed the overall homecoming but i certainly want it moved to a more temperate time of the year, i know disney can't control the heat but this is now 2 trips during last week of may for us, 96 & 04 and each trip had at least 1 day of unbearable heat, unfortunately this trip it was on founders day
