Member Cruise

Can anyone tell me what makes a member cruise any different than a regular disney cruise? Are the prices different or is it just that only members are allowed?

The member cruise is more expensive than other 4 night cruises during the same time frame. Only members can call to book, but they can book rooms for family and friends. For the member cruise, DVC brings in special guests and entertainment that you will not find on other Disney Cruises. They also leave gifts in your stateroom every day.
