Member Cruise Confirmation

Hi. Aug 2014 will be our first Member Cruise. So I had a question about the confirmation. When I finished with the booking, she had mentioned that I would get the confirmation in the mail with the DCL reservation number. She also gave me a DVC reservation confirmation. But since I didn't use points, I don't see it on my members only website.

Is it on the website somewhere or will I get an email from DVC confirming it? Or do I have to just make do with the confirmation number she gave until I get the DCL reservation number?

Any info would be much appreciated!

DVC will mail a printed confirmation about 3 weeks after booking. If you've sailed with DCL before, it will show up in your upcoming cruises once DVC sends the cruise information to DCL.

I was a little confused as to why I didn't get an email confirmation. I usually get it when I book a dvc resort reservation. I guess it's different with other reservations.

I guess I'll just wait for it in the mail. But I'll keep checking dcl to see if it's been update.

Was your credit card charged? It took a few days, but right now, that's all I have to show it is real!

The Member Cruise is handled a little differently. Usually if you book a cruise through DVC it does show up right away but the Member Cruise takes a few weeks.

I'm just a bit surprised that member services don't provide an automatic confirmation so we can confirm the details. I guess it's just for me to feel better that I know everything is correct.

This is our first member cruise so I'm not sure what to expect.

I keep looking at my Castaway Cay page, and it still has not shown up on the future cruises area.
