I just closed on my first DVC resale purchase about a month ago and I was wondering how I get my membership card? I wanted to log onto the website, but it asks for some info off the membership card.

Call MS and they will give you the codes for the website. Your blue member card should arrive in a couple of weeks.

My cards took a lot longer than a couple of weeks, more like a couple of months for me.

You will receive your membership cards in the mail from DVC but it may take a month or two. If you are visiting WDW before your memberships cards are in your hands, you can stop at Saratoga Springs and receive temporary cards to use during your visit.

I closed two weeks ago (bought direct) on SSS and called today because I have not received my code to access the DVC member site. I already received my membership card with my documents, however was anxious to get on the site and "view" my points and to also be able to order my annual pass. The CM at MS said to wait another week as it should be arriving in the mail, and it not, then call back:sad1:

The CMs can help you get set up on the website as soon as your points show up in their system, at least that is what was done for me. I did not have to wait until they sent me something in the mail. Maybe their policy has changed since last year, but I would call back and try a new CM if you get one who says you have to receive log in info through the mail. We received our cards a month or so after we closed, maybe six weeks.

Received an email today from my DVC guide with my access code! Logged on with no problems, able to see my scheduled trip to BWV in January and my banked points. How sweet! It's amazing the little things that can make me happy. Can't wait for my trip. It's great to be a DVC owner, regret not doing it years ago.
