Meijer's black friday door busters---online too??

We are considering a 40"--42" LCD TV and my head is spinning with so many different options right now.

Was wondering if anyone knows if the 42" Sylvania that Meijer's has listed in their Black Friday door busters ad would be available online or not. If we decide on this one I would prefer to not have to go out at 4:00am if I could get the same deal online----do they have ship to store free shipping like Walmart does???

If it isn't an option for me to get this online what do you think the odds would be for me to be able to get one of these?? I think it says only 40 per store but since I've never been out on a BF before I wouldn't even know how soon I would have to get there. Would I have to wait hours outside in the cold to get in line at Meijers like you see at Walmart and Best Buy?? 40 doesn't seem like alot and if there was a huge line waiting outside I would'nt be so thrilled if I got in there and they were all sold out---I guess the question is would it be worth it and how early would I have to get there to have a shot at this--and I know nothing is guaranteed but this is the only thing I'm getting and if I don't have to wait in line I would prefer not to.

The other dilemma we are having is just picking a 40-42" at this point---have been told to stay with the 1080p which this set is and to go for the 120Hz instead of the 60Hz--which with this set and alot of others I have no idea what the Hz are because they don't list it in the ad.

If anyone knows what the HZ is on this one I would appreciate knowing that---we will be using this in a basement for watching Movies and playing the Wii. We would prefer to not pay more than $500-$530 and this one has a great price at $499.99.

If anyone could help with whether you can order online with Meijers on Friday morning and how I can find the HZ level listings for this and other TV's on the Black Friday Ad list I would truly appreciate it.

Or, if you have or could recommend a good 40-42" LCD HDTV or Flat Panel whatever the difference is I don't know--that would be good for movies and has a good lag time for the Wii I would appreciate that too.

I would be very surprised if Meijer offered any of the big BF items online. As for wait times, you would be inside the store, not outside. Both of our Meijer stores really start rockin between 3 and 3:30, but have heard of others that start much earlier. You cannot checkout until the official ad start time. I have never left Meijer empty handed.

If you have multiple Meijer stores nearby, you may want to call ahead for exact quantities. We have 2 Meijer stores around Lexington, Hamburg and Fayette Mall, and the Hamburg store usually receives higher quantities of ad items.

no, they will not be available online on Meijer.com. You can wait to see what they will have on cybermonday, I know they had a good sale last year.

Thanks for the responses---no we only have one Meijers around here and I'm really hoping that I will be able to get one of these---40 seems like alot ---do you really think they will have this many available?????


Also forgot to ask does anyone know where in the store these would be located??? Would I have to go to the electronics dept. or would they have these on a pallet somewehere else in the store???? Thanks again!!

With Meijer, if it says minimum of 40, then they at least have that many, and probably a few more. They are very upfront with the quantities and have never found them to have less than advertised.

Look for them somewhere in a main aisle, it may not necessarily be at electronics.

Thanks kydisneyfans too---maybe I will call our local store to see if they will even reveal to me where these might be located for BF. It would be good to know where I need to go to once the madness starts.

If anyone has any experience with BF at Meijer's could you tell me is it as bad as Walmart--BEst Buy?? If they open at 5:00am what time do you think I would need to get there to be able to get one of these 40 that they have??? Are we talking hours before or could I show up say around 4:00am and still be able to get one???
