Yes, it's about a mile from the Walmart Super Center. With both a Meijer's and a Walmart Super Center in our small county (Mason in NW MI), we had two grocery stores go out of business. Their grocery prices are higher, oh say by around 10-15%, than Walmart's but their selection is better.
For all those who are wondering: Meijer's is a regional super-store chain like Walmart. It was founded in Grandville, MI (close to Grand Rapids) around the beginning of the 20th century. The current CEO emiritus, Fred Meijer, started Meijer Gardens and Sculture Park. The biggest item there is Da Vinci's horse. Quite a nice sculture. Freid Meijer is a philanthropist and to look at him, you woulnd't know he's worth +$500 million. They also contributed the $ to start the Fred and Lena Meijer Heart Center in GR.
