Meijer mPerks Reward, $5 off next purchase w/$50 gift card buy

If you are near a Meijer store, there is an mPerks Reward promo currently in progress that offers $5 off your next purchase for every $50 spent on eligible gift cards. This should work well with Disney gifts cards and with gift cards for any restaurants you may be planning to patronize in Orlando (or anywhere, really). The fine print indicates a limit of 10 Rewards per customer. I think the way this works is that you buy a $50 gift card and a store coupon for $5 off will print at the checkout station if you are an mPerks member.

What I'm not sure about is whether this works only with purchases of individual $50 cards. It would be nice to be able to buy a $500 Disney gift card and get a $50-off store coupon, for example. That would seem to be consistent with the 'limit 10 Rewards' restriction, since a $500 gift card is ten increments of $50. But maybe the deal only works with a purchase of ten distinct physical cards.

In my area the offer is $3 for $50 in gift cards. I bought a $250 Disney card and received 5-$3 off mperks. Kroger fuel points is a better offer for us be we already have enough fuel points to cover us through year end.
