Meeting the Captain?

Is there a time to meet the captain on a 3 day Wonder cruise? If so, when??? We leave on this Thursday -- yea!!!

They usually have a signing at Treasue Katch on Saturday night, and he poses for pictures on Friday night (I think).

Hi Brenda! I just posted to you on another post. We will be cruising Thursday too. There is a group of us disers meeting friday at 2:00 in the beach blanket buffet area. I'm going to try to find us a table in that area. I'll be wearing my lime green dis shirt. You won't be able to miss me! I hope you can make it!

Thanks for the invite - if I get a minute I'll try to stop by. This is my family's first cruise -- we're all so excited. Although, my DH isn't much for socializing so please don't be disappointed if you don't see me.

If you are a Castaway Club member, the party is also a great opportunity to meet the captain. Most of the photos in our "Captains" gallery were taken at the various CC parties we've attended.

I had to chuckle when I read this thread, and also had to share. This year at the CC reception the captain was standing at the doorway and shaking hands as you entered. I told my grandson who he was, and my grandson shook his hand and gave him a funny look. The captain asked what was wrong and I think my grandson took him by surprise with his question. He wanted to know who was "driving" the boat if he (the captain) was here? But quick thinking, his reply was "Well Mickey of course!"
