Meeting Meeko?!

Hi at all,

I hope, I'm right here.
From 12/19-12/28 (I know the crowds would be very long) I will travel to Disney World (staying at Pop Century) all the way from Germany - 8day hopper ticket for DW and 2days Universal. Of course I have already planned the first days, but the most important thing for me, I don't know how to consider in my plans: So, as I'm perhaps the biggest raccoon fan on earth, I only want to take a picture with my first love Meeko. I'm a complete newby and I hope you could tell me if there are any regulary Meet&Greets with him or if not, where and on which of these dates (at the moment my plan is visiting Animal Kingdom at 12/20), it is most likely to find him.

I don't think there is anywhere to meet or see Meeko currently. Your best bet is what they call Character-Palooza at HS, but it is a semi-random occurrence (It's not random, but it seems that way to guests). The characters you can see there are also random, so there is no guarantee Meeko would be there (though I know he has been in the past). Someone else might have better information for you.

Unfortunately Meeko does not have a set meet and greet. It is possible to meet him during Character Palooza that happens randomly at Hollywood Studios or if they are training he can be found at Animal Kingdom and Epcot. He currently only is seen in Fantasmic!

Thanks to you so far. Character Palozza was completely new for me. But this question qet in my mind today, because after installing the WD app, I read that there seems to been today a scheduled Meet and Greet with him at AK. So I hoped, that there is a kind of regularity behind it. :-/

Hopefully that's something new and it will continue for your trip! Best of luck. My husband's favorite character is one of the super rares, so I understand.

Oh I see that too! Keep an eye out for him at DAK. Looks like he is meeting at the Main Entrance which is relatively new to DAK. They have a rotating set of characters that meets. It is before the turnstiles on the far right as you look at the ticket booth so keep your eye out for him there! I would love if Meeko came back as a regular. I met him at DHS once and love that little raccoon.

When we were at Disney this past September we were able to have a meet and greet with him in Animal Kingdom. He was with Pocahontas. You see Meeko first and then you see Pocahontas. My kids loved him. I am not sure if they are still doing it or if we got lucky on the day we were their. I hope you get to meet him!

Probably not much help but you can meet him in DL, at the Storyteller's Breakfast at GCH
We've never seen him at WDW

Kenny's response is it's a random M&G at AK. They have them all the time but it's also one of the things that can't be planned or expected.
I also noticed that Governor Ratcliff was meeting in the same area.

The last week of August, I met Meeko at Animal Kingdom. He was with Pocahontas, and he even signed an autograph!

Yup - Meeko was at AK almost every time I went there over the last month. He meets in the same area as Pocahontas, but at the front of her line before you get to her. He's so adorbs in person!

Your best bet will to go to meet Pocahontas at Animal Kingdom. When I met her there Meeko was also there and we were able to get a picture all together.
