Meeting in the Middle for Birthday Badges?

I have never gone to Disneyland on my Birthday because it always falls around Labor Day weekend/holiday time so I figured Disneyland would be crowded!

My Birthday is September 3rd and my dad is June 14th so us going that time wouldn't be good either because of the schools being out for the summer and the summer heat!

So where can we meet in the middle and enjoy both our Birthdays and each get those Birthday badge button things, together while at Disneyland? Which month would you recommend? What perks do you get when wearing those pins buttons anyway?

You could do it any time in the summer, but I recommend mid-August as crowds tend to start getting thinner (though it's hot!). Honestly, you don't have to prove when your birthday is, so you could go in March if you really wanted to and still get a button. There aren't really any perks. CMs will wish you a Happy Birthday and some restaurants may give you a scoop of ice cream or other small treat, but it's hit or miss. It's really more just for your own enjoyment.

Hey, we're birthday buddies! Mine is Sept 5th, and my sister is Sept 3rd. You can celebrate at Disneyland any time you want. Doesn't have to be your real birthday. Stop at City Hall, or any of the stores in the park, and ask for your button. Any time during the summer months can be hot. We were there last Sept for Dapper Day and it was 103º!! It was actually cooler when we were there in July. Have fun celebrating!!

As others have said, you can get a birthday button ANYTIME. And, just so you know, I've never found Labor Day weekend to be all that crazy in the parks (no worse than any normal weekend).

We have had birthday buttons several times. It makes the CMs say happy birthday to you but we have never encountered any other perks at all. Just the joyous happy birthdays
