Meeting characters

Which are (if there any) the most "light" restaurants \ cafes (only snacks, desserts, drinks, etc...) that characters are coming to, and on about what hours?

Off the top of my head, Cafe Mickey in the Village (as you can choose just one course to eat there, and the characters are around all the tables at lunchtime and all evening after 6pm), or the Plaza Gardens tea party (this isn't a full meal, but a selection of pastries, desserts, some savoury snacks, hot and cold drinks etc, and again, the characters come round each table individually)

The Lucky Nugget and Inventions are full buffets, so you would have to pay the full price, regardless of what you eat there.

Is there any need to book in advance or I just can come in whenever I want?

You can, and should, book in advance. You don't have to pay in advance - you can pay when you get there. The Plaza Gardens tea party is only on twice a day, and can get very busy, so best to book that in advance.

Cafe Mickey is great! We always have lunch there on our last day and IMO lunch is a lot less busy than dinner. The characters spend a fair amount of time at the tables which works great for us.

I'd book if I were you, just to make sure you'd get a table for the time you want etc. You can do that over the phone for up to 2 months in advance or when you get there at your hotel.

We've always really enjoyed dinner at Cafe Mickey. This time we went for lunch and it was just as much fun and we had just as much character interaction.

I wasn't very hungry so just ordered a pizza. I say just ........ when it came it was enormous!
