Meeting characters when it rains

I am looking ahead at the weather forecast and noticed sellout first two days are predicted to be stormy. I was just wondering....does this mean characters won't meet? We have a character heavy trip and just want to have an idea of what might happen depending on weather!!

In case it matters, characters we hope to meet (not counting those we can FP - I know those still meet no matter what, since they are inside):

Tiana/Naveen
Snow White
Aurora
Fairy Godmother
Stepsisters
Peter Pan
Pluto

Epcot
Mulan
Daisy
Aladdin/Jasmine

Pluto (if not at MK)

Aladdin and Jasmine are inside at Epcot. I'm not sure how much luck you'll have with any of the others.

Does the Fairy Godmother still meet? I thought that was one of the recent changes?

Tiana does meet inside (Liberty square area) so I would assume they would find a way to get her there in the rain?

Although many of these are outside, I wonder if they have roofs or shelters at all? It's been a few years since we met Tiana and Naveen but I think there was a kind of gazebo there. In Epcot (I know you didn't ask about that but. . . ) both Snow White and Aurora had outdoor spots with a kind of awning or gazebo nearby, and I wonder if they duck in there during rain.

In AK, Russel and Dug are outside, but under a roof. Again, unfortunately I can't recall your specific characters AND I didn't happen to visit characters in the rain, so I'm not sure but maybe most of them have a shelter near that you don't even notice on nice days. May not work in a downpour, but in a light rain?

Most characters have a rain location. These are often under an overhang at a building nearby. If there is lightning in the area, then they will not come out. I'm not sure what the level of rain has to be to cancel meets.

Main Street characters (Minnie in red dress, Stitch, Pluto) meet either by the emporium or the candy shop
Daisy and Donald both meet inside (at MK)
Peter Pan is under an overhang with a backstage entrance nearby, so I don't see too many issues with him
Fairy Godmother and the Step Sisters generally meet near Sir Mickeys - lots of overhangs in those stores
Tiana and Naveen are back outside, and while they are under a gazebo, I don't know how much rain it would take to cancel their set
Mulan meets inside the theatre area in China
Jasmine is inside (note that Aladdin is no longer officially meeting here, but he does show up from time to time)

Those are the ones I have the most experience with.

Character Handlers will be able to give specific locations, since they aren't always visible from where the regular meet would be

Fairy Godmother does still meet. There was some confusion when she had Suzy and Perla filling in for her around the same time Lady Tremaine got cut. But my understanding is that she's back meeting guests again.

When did Tiana move to a gazebo? And where is that gazebo? She was indoors in November...my daughter hopes to see her again this week so any help that can be provided is greatly appreciated!

She moved back in December - the was temporarily in the Heritage House while work was being done on Skippers Canteen.

Tiana's Garden Glen is behind the Christmas shop that is just across the road from the Heritage House where she met last fall.

Note that because she is back outside and more visible, her lines are much longer than before, especially in the evening when Naveen is out

Honestly, rainy days can really be the best for meeting characters. That's because they are tucked into out of the way spots people don't know to look for. If you don't see someone you are looking for, ask CMs in the area, or have someone call the character hotline to find them. It's definitely worth the effort!
