I'm booking my Dec trip to WDW. Our TA told me that there have been 5 hour waits to see Anna and Elsa. Seriously?! How are parents getting their 3 year old to wait in a line like that??

Last week the waits were only 2-3 hours while we were there. We did NOT wait to see them, lol. Our daughter isn't as taken with Frozen as she is with Cinderella and Rapunzel. We also couldn't get fastpasses, which was the only way we were going to see them.

They make FP for that. ;)

I read that parents were talking turns waiting on the line, while the other parent took the kids on other rides.

Possible when they were in Norway, not sure how well that works now that they are at PFH in MK.

There have been posted wait times of five hours (or higher)

But, I don't think there has been anyone on the board that can confirm that they waited that long. Plenty of people have waited 2 hours or more (I waited 2 1/2 hours when they were in Norway--and I waited in line alone with my 2 year old daughter. I brought toys, her Nabi, snacks and we made friends with others in line) but yes, your wait will be substantial if you choose to do standby. Anna and Elsa are the most popular attraction at Disney right now, and have been that way since before the movie opened.

You can try to secure a FP+ for the meet and greet (I recommend logging onto MDE at midnight EST when your 30 or 60 day window opens up) and if you can't secure one then, just keep trying at all times throughout the day and cross your fingers. If you cannot secure a FP+, many people have had luck with seeing them with a shorter wait in the afternoon, though A & E are advertised as only meeting until 5pm each day.

And as the above poster said, you cannot hold a space in the line in MK like you could when they were in Epcot. The set up is entirely different and it's not easy at all to have other members of your party join the line later on.

I dont see how people do it either. There is no way DH or myself would even want to stand in any area that long and switch on and off. Plus I know DD would def not wait that long. We were at DL this past Dec the week of New Years for one day. It was a night mare never again will I go to Disney during that week. Anyways they were there I told DD they were but the wait was hours and she said NO. As much as she loves frozen she understands if I say its a long wait and she def doesn't want to.

Plus, I think by December when OP is going, Anna and Elsa will be "so last year" by then, lol. I think this summer the waits will be high, and then it will die down. Kids move on quickly, hehe.

. I would think that but probably until fall or so we'll be in this frozen frenzy though rapunzel by herself how long waits for a long time my guess is you'll still have to wait 90 min through this year to see them.
