My daughters love Frozen! We are going to Disney in August. Meeting Anna and Elsa is a priority. I have read a lot that the lines are hours long to meet them. We will do the waiting; however, we want to do lunch at LeCellier. We have reservations at 12:30 am to eat. If we run straight to Anna and Elsa when Epcot opens, does it seem reasonable we would be able to see them before our lunch reservations?

Has anyone went straight to Norway to meet them when the park opened? What time did you see them?

Things to keep in mind - by August their schedule and even location may have changed dramatically! They might be in another park by then - clearly Disney was caught off guard by their popularity so I wouldn't count on them 'just' being in Norway in August.

OK that said - yes you can do it if you walk quickly. We met them in January - when they were meeting starting at 11 am (since then Disney has played with them starting to meet at 9 am - a much better plan IMO). DH 'moved it' from RD back to Norway and got in line. We met them around 11:20 am and were done by 11:25 am. So yes you could do it with time to spare assuming you do go right there and do walk quickly (don't run).

If I were you I'd keep an eye on the board and on Kenny's site so you can be up to date with where / when they are.

Great info! I'll keep my eyes peeled for new info on where Anna and Elsa will be. :)

I have to believe that by August Disney will have a handle on this m&g and the lines won't be quite as bad as they are now.

Just for a recent experience, though - I met A&E on a fairly low-crowd Monday (2/10) when they were starting at 9 am. I came in the main gate at Epcot and headed straight for Norway - I was not first in line at the gate, and I don't move as fast as I used to, but I was in their line around 9:05 (gates opened around 8:50, I think) and met A&E around 10:40. (They were super sweet, by the way, and worth the wait.)

It took 3 months for them to move the meet time up to park opening and that lasted a week or two? I wouldn't count on changes being made, not saying that they won't, but I wouldn't bet money on it.

That said, if you have a runner who can get to WS quickly at RD, on a non EMH (unless you are staying onsite), you should be able to see them and be out by 1230, but if they don't start until 11, it could be close. Mid you can make a later ADR you'd be safer and could fill in extra time if it works out well, but if it doesn't you at least wouldn't miss it.
