Meet and Greet with King Louie?

At one point I read that King Louie could be found in AK. I can only see one character meet and greet listed for AK though, and that is for Mickey and Minnie at the Adventurers Outpost. Can King Louie be found anywhere anymore? "I Wanna Be Like You" is my son's favorite Disney song and he knows the whole thing by heart, dance moves and all.

I've seen them pretty much all the time after 11am but I don't know they're exact schedule

This is listed on wdwent.com and is taken from the Entertainment schedule:
Intermittently 10:30am-2:00pm & 3:00pm-6:00pm

When we were at AK in Jan 2017, we saw king Louie. I'd be happy to rope drop, but my the rest of my crew likes to sleep in, so it wasn't too early. Looking at my photo stamps, we arrived at AK just after 10am. Add in time for security and pictures in front of the tree... then as we were walking to hit an Everest fastpass, a cast member saw my daughter and waved us over. The cast member held her hand and marched with her to open the character spot for Louie. My daughter was the first to meet Louie and Baloo, photo stamped 10:57am. You can find them now in Upcountry landing in Asia. We never saw a wait over 30 minutes. If you hang out close to that area, you might be lucky enough to be selected to the first meet and greet. We weren't even trying, so You might get a little Disney magic if you wait nearby and your little one has a love of Louie!

If you get there a couple minutes early, are a bunch of other people doing the same?

We have an EE FP for 10-11am that we plan on tapping in at 9:55am. Then Lion King show at 11:00am (no FP). We have a Tusker House reservation at 11:35am right after the show.

Was hoping to squeeze Baloo and King Louie in right at 10:30am when they are posted to be there if no wait but need enough time to make it to Lion King. I assume if one parent goes ahead to Lion King, cannot save seats?

BTW, it will be a 9/10 CL day - next weekend, Saturday of Presidents Day weekend.

not a lot of people will be there before they show up. Once the characters come out the line starts forming but I have never seen that line looking like more than 10-15 minutes. You cannot hold seats at FOTLK unless you are all seated first and then a kids needs to use the bathroom

BTW I just checked MDE under AK and characters it does list Louie and Baloo from 10:30am-2pm then 2:40-6:10pm

The MDE app has outdated info - they really need to update their entertainment schedules.

The Times Guide is showing the after lunch meets are 3:00-6:00p.

Thanks for the info! If we get to FOTLK at 10:45am, maybe we will be ok...we are not staying at AK through the afternoon so only only chance to do both.

Good to know so little ones are disappointed; we will forewarn them. At least this probably helps speed the line up a smidge.
