We are cruising with friends who have never cruised. We already have done our online check in but they can’t for a while. She is worried about being able to get character breakfast and meet and greet tickets. My kids are older and have no interest in doing either. I’m not sure how the tickets work- can I get tickets (since I can get them now) and give them to her? I know they are delivered to our room but are they linked to our room? Our reservations aren’t linked because they want early dinner and we like late. Or are there plenty of tickets- if you can’t get them ahead of time can you get them when you board?

If they can’t get them ahead of time there is a chance of getting them onboard.

If your friends can’t get the tickets you could let them borrow your kttw card and her family can check in under your name.

I never heard of friends or family members not sitting together because they can’t agree with a dining time. I would try to work something out. Flip a coin or something

I've never done the character breakfast, but I know with the princess gathering and frozen meet and greet tickets, you would be perfectly fine signing up for your family and then giving the tickets to your friends.

Wouldn’t be a very good business practice if only Castaway Cay members got meet and greet with the princesses. If it was that popular I’m sure they offer a second day or time.

Do you mean they can't for a while because they're not in their 75 day window yet, or for another reason? I did my first cruise last month and when my 75 day window opened I was able to get ticketed meets quite easily; I actually had multiple time slots to choose from (I did do it at midnight Florida time, right when the window opened, don't know how much difference it makes).

On our Star Wars day we got tickets for 3 meet and greets but I didn't get earth Vader for my wife but she came along but wasn't going to get pics but the cm didn't seem to care and let us in with her. Also they are just paper tickets and I'm sure I could have given them to anyone I wanted to. What I would do is book them for her and then if she is able to get them then you can cancel yours.

It's our first cruise and all frozen and princess met and greets were sold out when we checked in at 75 days. We will have to try and get tickets when we board. Given it was a 14 day cruise I thought they would have had more than just the 2 sessions.

Also all the mixology and drinking experiences were booked.

We did manage to get Palo for my husband's birthday dinner.

With yours being a 14 day cruise, I'm guessing it is the Panama Canal. Those cruises tend to have a much higher percentage of platinum and gold CC members than other cruises. Chances are you will have no trouble getting tickets once on board. But keep checking online for more to pop up . I've heard of cruisers suddenly finding tons of availability closer to their sail dates.
