Meet and greet at SL

was just wondering what the characters would be at the meet and greet at SL when we go at the beginning of october or do they alternate please

yes they'll be there in the mornings between 8am and 11am. You will find an information board around reception which should give you details of which 2 characters will be at your hotel each morning (they rotate, one character for half an hour, then another character comes out for half an hour, then the first one comes back out etc etc).

To give you an idea: I've seen Pooh, Eeyore, Pluto, Ranger Minnie, Ranger Goofy and Goofy in Goof Troop costume myself.
