Here and on another board I heard about a new CS place that has hummus and other Mediterranean foods. Anyone know the name of this place and if we can use it on the dining plan? I didn't see it last time I was there, but that was in April...

I think it may be the ABC Commissary. DBF and I went to eat there and I remember seeing nothing that looked even remotely familiar to what I was used to. LoL. That's probably it.
I just saw it last week for the first time. I'm having a senior moment here but I think it was right near the Muppets. Its an out door eatery. It is not the ABC Comm. that I am sure of.
Is it the Studio Catering Company? They are open "seasonally" according to my MGM brochure but they were featuring deli sandwiches. Still trying to figure out where to have CS lunch with the DP on our MGM day lol!

Well, the ABC Commissary definitely had "different" food. Here's the menu:
Fish and Chips - $6.89 - (battered fried fish served with thick cut fries)
Cheeseburger - $6.19
Chicken Curry $5.49
Cuban Sandwich - $6.59
Half-Cuban Sandwich - with black bean salad $5.69
Vegetable Noodle Stir Fry - $5.99 (Asian vegetables with lo mein noodles in a soy stir-fry with Asian slaw)
Tabbouleh Wrap - $6.59 (flour tortilla filled with Mediterranean mix of tabbouleh and hummus, served with marinated tomatoes)
Fresh Fruit - $2.39
French Fries - $2.39
Well, at least I know they offered something Mediterranean and I wasn't going crazy. Anyway, after seeing the menu at ABC, we decided against it. We're not really into that kind of food.

Compared to places like Cosmic's, Rosie's, Electric Umbrella, etc. it is sort of "abnormal." I'd take chicken fingers over that any day, LoL. It's hard to screw up chicken fingers.
I had high hopes for Studio Catering Co. because I really liked the Meditteranean menu.
But, I have to say, it continued to uphold MGM's reputation as the Park with the WORST CS food. The dip platter was ok for a snack, but the lunch we had there was pretty bad. We will continue to leave MGM to eat unless we are sitting down at a Table Service.
I used the Dining Plan there. It wasn't listed, but the first day we went there, they took a snack credit for the water we had we with dip combo. The CM said they did take the plan, so we went back for lunch another day & they took it then also.
