mediterranean cruise anyone?

i was just wondering if anyone has made plans for the mediterranean cruise for next summer. if so, travel dates? it looks like an awesome trip.

My partner (Kim) and I (Deb) are booked on the May 26 sailing. We're new to the boards and this forum (well, as posters--have done a good bit of lurking on and off).

We're looking forward to it. It definitely is $$$$, but K is turning 40, we're both gainfully employed, and life is short!

It seems so expensive...I would love to go, we did the PC cruise last May but I have many competing interests in 2007 so besides $$$ timing is the bigger problem. I have a work conference for a week in SF in March, a family reunion at WDW in December, and I have to fit in a week in Vegas, some time in NYC, would like to get back to Chicago, and maybe LA. That ends up to be about every other month and two weeks in Europe can't squeeze onto the calendar. But if anyone in a category 3 or higher would like an in-room, full-time cabin steward I am happy to oblige!

May is the perfect time to go but if I cruise the Med it would be for the Med and not the repo, and Jun-Aug is super busy at work (public schools, yes we really do work in the summer!).

I'm thinking about crossing the Atlantic on the Queen Mary and maybe doing an England/France/Spain thing once on that side of the water. That is 2008. Then there is Hawaii and Alaska and Australia...this stupid WORK thing keeps getting in my way. I find if you stop going to the work thing they stop giving you the money thing and then it makes the travel thing really hard to do!!

My partner, Jason, and I are booked on the repositioning cruise that sails across the Atlantic on May 12th from Port Canaveral in Florida and finishes in Barcelona two weeks later. Yes the trip is pricey...but it's also an opportunity that won't present itself very often...if ever...in life....cruising across the Atlantic ocean? to Europe? with our favorite Mouse? On our favorite cruise line? Please....no thinking necessary...SIGN US UP!!!

Seriously, though, we've already linked up with a bunch of other cruisers booked on that trip in another of the boards on here...and they all seem GREAT...including another lesbian cruiser....if anymore "family" are considering these cruises....TAKE THE PLUNGE and join us as we take the Magic to the Mediteranean!!
