My son has been wanting to go to the Medieval Tmes show for some time. We were thinking about doing this the night before we check into Disney. The prices seem pretty high. Is it worth it? How's the food? Do you need reservations?

Thanks for any help

It is fun. The food was so so. My son loved it. In fact we are going again in July. All dinner shows are basically the same price. Look for coupons. They even have a coupon on their website. If you decide to go, at the gate they will try to get you to upgrade your ticket so that you are seating closer. We did this and it was a waste of money. There are six sections with I believe 5 rows in each. This upgrade guarantees you to be in the first three rows. Every seat is a good seat. One mistake I made was that they have a museum there that you go into before the show and I did not know about it. I have not heard the last of that one.

Medieval Times is fun for the kids; don't expect much from the food, especially if you don't like to eat with your fingers (No utensils back in the middle ages, dontcha know.) The show itself is quite entertaining, with jousting, etc.; and takes place in a big arena type setting in which there really isn't a bad seat. Generic beer and wine come with the meal. It's a little pricey for what you get, but as has been noted, there are coupons available on-line or in all the Kissimmee tourist guides. If you like cheesy entertainment (and we do) it's really a good time.

Another thumbs up.My three would happily do the show again:)

Don't know about the seating in Orlando, but have been several times in Dallas. One reason to upgrade to the better seating (in Dallas, it is the first 2 rows) is that the knights will throw flowers into the audience. My 13 year old daughter is ecstatic that she has caught a flower each time we have been!

I always sneak in plastic knife, spoon and fork, plus extra napkins. Makes it a lot easier to get the veggies out of the soup and helps pull the skin off the chicken, if you are into more healthy eating. We think the show is worth it, even if the food isn't great. Take your kids and have a great time!
