Medieval Times - more questions (sorry)

I'm taking 2 adult friends to WDW for their first and probably only visit in November. One really wants to go to Medieval Times - we went many years ago when the boys were younger - I don't mind going again since my friend is REALLY into it.

Question 1: If I purchase tickets from Undercover Tourist (yes, I realize you still need to make reservations), can we somehow upgrade to the VIP seating? Or are we limited to the regular sections?

Question 2: Do people (patrons, not performers) dress in costume? As I said, this woman is really into it and will bring her costume if the audience dresses up. I don't recall anyone in costume, but who knows?

We went last month, and could have upgraded to vip seating while we were there for $10. I didn't see any patrons dressed up though.
