Okay, I've read TSA's guidelines and still have a couple of questions. We have quite a bit of medicine between the 4 of us. I understand that solid pills are fine just in the carry ons. My son takes liquid Zyrtec that comes in a large bottle three months worth at a time. I just show this to them up front right? Is there some form I need to fill out. Now what about capsules with powder in them? Do they count as gel?

All of the medicines you list are fine and you have the procedure down correctly. Just pack your sold pills and the capsules wherever is convenient and be certain to declare the larger bottle of liquid medicine to the TSA screeners. Do not put it in the quart bag with your other 3 oz. or smaller liquids and gels.
