medication

ive put my medication into my suitcase but i was going to take a small amount in my hand luggage for the day im traveling. will there be a problem at all doing that?

nope, there shouldnt be. ive taken more than a days worth before, just in case my suitcase goes walkies. i usually take a recent prescription print out, but ive never been asked to show it or anything

I always put all mine in my hand luggage, in it's original packaging, with a recent prescription/tear off thingy

I think that, officially, you're supposed to carry medication in your hand luggage anyway

I know we always carried DH's in his......

Just get a doc's letter if there are any 'controlled' drugs in there - eg opiates, or opiate derivatives ......

I don't trust my luggage not to get lost (not that it ever has!) but don't put any of our medications in them, we always carry them in hand luggage. However, with mum's heart condition her hand luggage is now just full of the 20+ different medications she'll need for a two-week trip and no room for anything else!!!!

I would never put my DH's medication in the suitcase for fear of it getting lost, I always carry it in the hand luggage.

You would need to watch the amount of medication if any of it is liquid! If it is not liquid then just carry it on with you.

I would put it all in your hand luggage if able to i owuldnt trust it in my suitcase. also take a recent prescription, just in case you are asked about it, or in case you lose any and have to try and get replacements in the states.
