i have a question and I really don't know where to post it. I figured that if no one here knows maybe I can be pointed in the right direction. My doctor just put me on a new medication and one of the side effects (that is effecting me) is extreme thirst. I know that I can't take water on the plane with me but I am wondering if the flight attendant can accomodate me? Usually I only get one drink on the plane but there is no way I can handle that.

Hi,

You CAN take water on the plane, as long as you buy it after you pass through security.

You can also tell your flight attendant and I'm sure he/she will be happy to keep you hydrated with free water!

Thanks. The airport that I fly out of does not have any beverages past the security check point so that was my biggest worry. Thank you so much for your reply hopefully the flight attendants will undestand.

What airport doesn't have at a minimum a soda machine or a small concession stand past security?

You can always bring an empty bottle through security with you, fill it at a water fountain and bring it on the plane. I would do this even if the airport sold water - better for the environment and your budget ;)
