My wife is packing out over the counter meds in her carry on luggage. Is she going to have any problems at the security check point? I am talking kids cold/cough med, advil, etc.....

It's OK, as long as it's not really large amounts (like several hundred pills). TSA doesn't care about OTC meds, but large amounts of pseudoephedrine could trigger them tipping off local law enforcement re: suspicion of methamphetamine trafficking.

Usually, on domestic flights, the one time ordinary medications might be at issue is with injectables; sometimes they will stop syringes unless you have a copy of the Rx.

There should be no problem at all with over the counter medications. It's always a good idea to carry prescription meds in the container in which they were received from the pharmacy.

She won't have a problem. They tell you to carry all meds in your carry-on.
