medical reason for fridge?

this may be stretching it a bit...do you think that having a 1yr old could possibly get me a free fridge? My baby still needs pretty many ounces of milk per day and he is lactose intolerant so he needs lactaid milk. Any chance? or am I just crazy?

That is a perfectly legitimate medical reason. :thumbsup2

What resort are you staying at? The only ones that don't provide refrigerators are the Value resorts. Plus, the medical ones are teenty tiny, the size of a shoe box. They are not normal size fridges. So if you were hoping to be able to put large amounts of milk in it, it probably won't work.

we r staying at allstar movies. I thought it would be a regular size fridge, that stinks. I might give it a shot anyway. Would I need a dr excuse or will they just take my word for it? Thanks

They’ll take your word. If for some unusual reason, they don’t take your word, demand to see a manager!

If the refrigerator they provide you is too small just call them and request a bigger unit. They will provide a “dorm” refrigerator (about 2’ x 3’) if the containers you have won’t fit in the smaller unit.

We only needed the frig for a small bottle of med, and they always have given us a dorm size one.
Can't hurt to ask.

The couple of times we have needed one, it was the small dorm size fridge. We just tell them we need one for medical reasons and they have never asked us to expound on it.

We've always been given the dorm sized one as well.

Several years ago, my older son had to drink soy milk (before you could get it most everywhere) and I got a free medical fridge at CSR (before they were included in every room). It was the regular dorm-size fridge.

My son has a milk allergy and we need soy. He has many other food allergies as well. No free refrigerator for us. We asked.

Have you check out the fridge swaps? You maybe able to get on from their if not for free for very cheap. If you strike out is the hotel, check them out.

Years ago I purchased a cooler that plugs into a cigarette lighter plug in the car and plus into a wall outlet in the room.....It has been on MANY Disney trip. Best I can remember it was about $75 - might want to consider if all else fails.:wizard:

When I was BF, I always got a "medical fridge" to store when I expressed. I never got a tiny one, always a regular sized, normal fridge:confused3

GL!

My granddaughter was on soy formula and no free fridge for us. We had to pay for it at Pop.
