Medical Check In at Terminal

Aside from the COVID procedures, are there any medical checks at the port terminal? I believe I read there’s a questionnaire but is there any additional exam for example, temperature checks? My little one can be skittish with anything medical and I’d like to prepare her ahead of time for what to expect. Thanks!

Only time we had a temp check was when we tested in San Diego last November
