Looking for a meat slicer to cut things like roast beef, turkey, etc for home use

Looks like they range from $50 to hundreds on Amazon! What should I look for? What should I avoid?

Just got a new freezer and ready to fill it up!

Thanks

I have a waring pro slicer that I got as a present 2 years ago and it works great. I'm not sure how much it cost because it was a present, but I know it was under $100.

Hiya!

I have one at home that came from JC Penney, that was "half-priced" for $69, and I used a 15% off "survey" coupon from the back of a receipt on it, too, so about $60. I'm pretty sure it's a waring, but I'm not at the house right now. For what I paid, I'm very happy with it. We've used it for slicing sandwich meat and cheese, tomatoes, and getting chicken and beef uniformly thin for stir-fries.

The home models are easy to use and easy to take apart and clean, the only thing that really jumps to mind is that the blade doesn't spin super-fast like in some delis... fast enough, just not buzz-saw speed.
